Capitolism, Socialism and Communism

In class we were given Hershey kisses and most students received 3 and two students received 10. The purpose of this activity was to show the difference between Capitalism, Socialism and Communism. The activity was fun because at the end of the class I had chocolate.

Karl Marx wanted money to be evenly divided so that no one struggled. The poor can help themselves by having private ownership and freedom of competition. Adam Smith theory could help benefit the poor because the prices of goods will be reduced because of businesses competing with each other.

I think the best theory is the Karl Marx theory.

Child Labor Today

Today in class we had a socratic seminar about child labor. Something I brought up during the class discussion was that around 215 million children under 18 work. Another thing that I brought up was some children went into labor not knowing the danger of factory work.

Something someone said that I found important was that they wouldn't stop buying  products made by child labor. Another thing I found important about what someone said is that they didn't think that child labor was such a bad thing until they did research about it.

Our group did well having a nice discussion about child labor. We also did well with coming to class prepared with notes
